MISTY KOLOZETTI NEW WKL WORLD CHAMPION MUAYTHAI.
Misty Kolozetti stepped into the ring against Spanish and Catalonian Muay Thai Champion Elisabeth Tapias. Opening the bout Tapias was quick to press and move forward trying to intimidate Kolozetti. Starting off slowly, Kolozetti let the pressing take place for a little period of time. Kolozetti then started landing some hard punches which snapped the Spanish girl's head backwards hard. This brought some respect to the Canadian girl from Tapias. Rounds one to four had Kolozetti landing some very hard shots and Tapias trying to press but being forced backwards from the heavy blows. In the final round, Kolozetti finally opened up and delivered combinations that scored and frustrated Tapias. Kolozetti pressed forward throwing excellent combinations with focus and resolve. Tapias came to fight and delivered some good MuayThai technique and proved how tough she was. But the end of the bout, Misty Kolozetti was to walk away with a new title belt around her waist. Kolozetti was also to walk away with the Roy Lilley Best In Town Fighter Trophy.
